CIRP launches international programmes with different international partners
on project basis in line with its mission and working principles. The
current programmes are as follows:
Ø
EUROPEAN STUDIES RESEARCH PROGRAMME (ESRP)
which focuses on the EU with all its political, economic, cultural, and
legal aspects, and help making of a sound integration process through
interactions of civil societies. ESRP is essentially made up of an
international group of intellectuals, academics working actively on issues
related to the EU or specialized on the EU from interdisciplinary and/or
multidisciplinary point of view.
ESRP
has its focus on the governance and democracy in the EU, the EU enlargement,
cultural integration in the EU, institutions of the EU, etc. ESRP has
launched discussion paper series on policy oriented debates regarding the
EU. It also organizes seminars, conferences, debates, intensive courses to
this end.
Ø MEDITERRANEAN
CITIZENSHIP INITIATIVE (TMCI)
focuses on the cooperation and networking of
Mediterranean countires through the principles laid out in the Barcelona
Declaration in 1995 and beyond. It targets a network of the citizens
of Mediterranean workinmg together towards cross-cultural cooperation,
stability and peace by achieving cultural, econmic, political policies and
reforms.
TMCI
sees as its pillars:
Ø
the
development of dialogue between cultures, and preservation of cultural
heritage in the Mediterranean basin.
Ø
creation of means and mechanisms to enchance peace and stability across
Mediterranean through cooperation of civil societies.
Ø
development of the human resources to enable the future reforms through
jointly developed programmes.
Ø
addressing the issues essential to socio-economic development, democratic
and welfare state, cultural dialogue by working together of citizens and
NGOs towards continious dialogue and exchange of information.
Ø
INTERNATIONAL CORPORATE CITIZEN INITIATIVE (ICCI)
aims
to enhance international networking of individuals, NGOs, companies,
philantrophic societies in order to create and sustain unified actions on
issues cited in the mission statement of CIRP. The ICCI aims to use all the
tools of the information age, and the mass media to communicate its research
on a variety of fields to individuals. Moreover, it aims to be part of other
international networks, to provide internationally oriented training
facilities for youth whenever possible thus help to create a basis for good
governance through future policy-makers who go beyond the borders of nation
state towards the concept of "world citizen" while respecting unity in
diversity.
